I love my natural hair. I love the fact that my hair is a reflection of my spirit and that it announces everything that is honestly beautiful and creative about the Afrikan heritage. Although in this society natural Black hair is considered controversial, I'm glad that my hair flirts with elevating human consciousness. I can rock an afro, fro-hawk, braids, locs, twists or a caser and feel confident enough in myself to face the world in my natural state and feel good about myself, and feel free.
